Martha graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in animal science in 2004. Soon after graduating, in 2005, she became a part of the Angell team in the Inpatient Services department, primarily working in the Critical Care Unit (CCU), and has been a lead technician since 2011. Along with her technician certification, she obtained her specialty certification in emergency and critical care in 2014. When she is not busy saving lives in our CCU, Martha enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends. Kayaking, camping, and lounging on the beach are just a few of her favorites. Martha lives just outside of Boston with her goofy Boston terrier, Vern, and three cats: Mumfie, Blue Boy, and Mingo.
