About Megan

Dr. Whelan is the Chief Medical Officer of Angell in Boston and she co-directs the Emergency and Critical Care service with Dr. Bracker. Dr. Whelan is a 2003 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one-year internship program at Angell and a three-year E/CC residency at Tufts before joining Angell’s senior staff. She is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and is also Director of Angell’s Internship Program. As Internship Director, Dr. Whelan oversees the clinical education of new veterinarians as they rotate through all of Angell’s specialty services.
