About Michael

Dr. Gay has worked as an emergency doctor at several veterinary specialty hospitals, learning from board-certified specialists in emergency and critical care, medicine, and surgery. In 2002, Dr. Gay opened his own veterinary emergency hospital, rapidly becoming trusted for delivering high-quality emergency care to owners and their pets. As an emergency doctor, Dr. Gay recognized the importance of anesthesia and pain control in critically ill dogs and cats and pursued specialty training in anesthesia and analgesia (pain relief) at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
