Avian/Exotics Technician II
Rebekah graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Marine Affairs and a minor in Marine Biology in 2016. After completing an internship with the New England Aquarium’s rescue and rehabilitation department, Rebekah decided to go back to school to expand her knowledge of veterinary medicine, and she became a CVT in 2021. From the start, Rebekah has had a soft spot for exotics and knew she wanted to work with them. It has always been her belief that small/exotic pets deserve the same level of care and compassion as dogs and cats. Eventually, she plans to combine her knowledge of marine science and her technician skills to become a marine veterinary nurse. In her free time, she enjoys whale watching, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
