Dr. Masri grew up in Berkeley, California. They received a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of California, Davis, in 2021. They went on to earn their veterinary degree at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where they graduated in the class of 2021. They completed a one-year rotating internship at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a one-year specialty internship in Zoological Medicine at the VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in South Weymouth. Their special interests include avian and exotic medicine. In their free time, they enjoy cooking and baking, creating artwork, caring for houseplants, and spending time with their caique parrot.
