About Ashley

Dr. Ashley Lockwood grew up in North Central Connecticut. She obtained a BS from Quinnipiac University in veterinary technology and worked as a certified veterinary technician for several years before getting her veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 2014. She then completed a one-year rotating small animal internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston in 2015 and continued at Angell to complete a three-year Emergency and Critical Care residency. After working as an E/CC specialist on the Upper Cape for several years, Dr. Lockwood is excited to join the collaborative and growing Angell West team in February of 2021. She has a special interest in trauma and metabolic emergencies. Dr. Lockwood enjoys gardening, hiking, music festivals, stand-up paddle boarding, and other outdoor activities outside of the hospital.
