About Sarah

Sarah grew up in Quincy, MA. She knew early on that she wanted to work with animals, specifically exotic pets and wildlife. Her love for animals led her to attend Norfolk Country Agricultural High School, where she discovered her interest in veterinary medicine.

Sarah graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from North Shore Community College in 2014 and soon after became a Certified Veterinary Technician. She started at Angell Animal Medical Center in 2014 as an avian exotic technician before transferring to Angell-West’s Avian Exotics department full time in 2022. She earned her veterinary technician specialty (VTS) in clinical practice for exotic companion animals in 2025, a title held by fewer than 20 technicians globally.

Sarah has a special interest in aquatic animal medicine and previously volunteered for the New England Aquarium for several years, where she really enjoyed working with fish and sea turtles. She shares her home with two dogs and 2 rabbits. Sarah enjoys traveling and spending time with her pets.
