Dr. Nunes was previously an emergency veterinarian at VEG Newton, where she provided critical care to dogs, cats, and exotics. A graduate of The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine, she brings over a decade of experience as both a DVM and certified veterinary technician. With a special interest in emergency medicine, ultrasound, and surgery, she’s committed to advancing veterinary care through mentorship, continuing education, and community outreach. Fluent in English and Portuguese, she also volunteers with local rescue groups, providing triage, health checks, and medical support for shelter animals.
