Avian and Exotic Medicine in Waltham

Patrick Sullivan, DVM, DABVP (Avian Medicine) is a board-certified avian specialist who serves our avian and exotic patients at our MSPCA-Angell West hospital in Waltham.  Dr. Sullivan is available by appointment to provide primary care for avian and exotic animals at the MSPCA-Angell West or to consult with your primary care veterinarian for cases that may be referred to Angell’s Avian and Exotic Medicine Service for specialty care.IMG_3338

Optimal wellness and emergency/critical care for avian, small mammal, reptile, fish, or other exotic pets requires experienced veterinary management, specialized diagnostic and treatment protocols, and equipment and facilities designed for these special species.

Members of the Angell Avian and Exotic team, including Dr. Sullivan, and Drs. Brendan Noonan and Elisabeth Simone-Freilicher DVM, DABVP (Avian Medicine) in our Boston hospital, have completed special training in exotic medicine, including rabbit and rodent dentistry, medical and surgical treatment of ferret diseases, and reptile medicine and surgery.
