Regular annual checkups can ensure that your pets remain healthy and happy. The General Medicine/Primary Care team at the MSPCA-Angell West provide primary and preventative care to evaluate your pet’s overall health and help detect potential problems before they become serious.

Urgent Care
In addition to treating General Medicine patients, Dr. Tamara Kremer Mecabell, Dr. Julie Shields, and Dr. Natasha Pakravan also serve our Urgent Care patients. Angell’s Urgent Care service bridges the gap between primary and emergency care.
Drs. Kremer Mecabell, Shields, and Pakravan treat animals with conditions that require timely treatment but do not require our Emergency/Critical Care service. Urgent Care is an appointment-based service, not a walk-in service, with appointments often available within 24 hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit angell.org/urgent.
