Pet food, pet care, and veterinary services

The MSPCA Community Outreach Team is committed to providing support services to pet owners facing eviction or foreclosure in Greater Boston, Cape Cod, Springfield, and the Merrimack Valley region. If you live outside these areas and are seeking support, please visit our webpage or reach out to outreach@mspca.org and we can work to connect you with animal support services closer to your area. We are expanding our Community Outreach program, so keep updated here.

Who qualifies?

If you are a pet owner facing eviction in Greater Boston, Cape Cod, Springfield, or the Merrimack Valley Region, you are qualified for support.

Services Offered

We can offer the following supplies and services. Having up-to-date vaccinations is often required or looked upon favorably by potential landlords.

Supplies

• Free indoor crates
• Free litter boxes/litter
• Free dog houses
• Free food – Statewide list of food pantries offering pet food
• Free leashes/collars

Veterinary Care

• Low-cost spay/neuter
• Low-cost vaccines
• Free flea/tick prevention

Other Support

• Licensing fee assistance
• Behavior advice
