Thanks to the kindness and generosity of caring donors, the MSPCA initiated an adoption campaign for 2011 designed to promote pet adoption to the communities we serve. Through a series of creative programming, subsidized adoption fees, educational opportunities, and underwritten advertising, we worked to find loving homes for 750 more animals this year with your help.
The adoption campaign highlighted specific groups of animals and individual animals who may be under-recognized as adoption candidates. Monthly and seasonal adoption promotions are funded by donors who support the MSPCA’s mission “to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society”.

Pit Bulls: Changing Minds, Finding Homes, and Helping Owners
• Throughout October, meet adoptable Pit Bulls, read successful Alumni stories of Pit Bulls, and learn more about how we are changing mindsets on this much-maligned breed.
SPF 75 (Seeking Purrfect Families)
• Adult Cat adoption fee reduced to $75 during the summer months
Fee Waived Adopt-A-Thon for Adult Cats
• All adoption fees waived for Adult Cats on August 27th and 28th, 2011!
• All adoption fees waived for Adult Cats on November 5th and 6th, 2011!
