24/7 Emergency & Critical Care

The MSPCA-Angell’s Emergency and Critical Care service is staffed by highly trained veterinarians available 24/7 to treat pets with life-threatening trauma and disease. The Critical Care Unit (CCU) has advanced monitoring devices and techniques such as blood component therapy, peritoneal dialysis, and ventilator therapy to provide the best care possible for critical patients.

  • A dedicated critical care team of senior staff doctors, residents, interns, and nurses
  • Drug infusions
  • Emergency blood transfusions and blood products
