Angell Animal Medical Center’s Cardiology service in Boston is staffed with a full time board-certified cardiologist and three cardiology residents. At Angell West in Waltham, we have an independent, visiting board-certified cardiologist available to patients who are under the care of another Angell doctor, including those being seen through the emergency service. The Angell staff is focused on clinical excellence and optimal client service and animal care.

- Twenty-four hour Holter evaluation (for animals with diagnosed or suspected paroxysmal arrhythmia)
- Event monitoring (for recurrent syncopal activity)
- Inpatient continuous telemetric ECG recording
Full Service Pacemaker Program
- Transvenous pacemaker implantation (temporary, permanent)
- Surgically placed epicardial pacemaker implantation
Cardiac Surgery Program
