The MSPCA-Angell Raised the Woof — and brought down the house! — at its annual spring fundraiser held Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the fabulous Larz Anderson Park in Brookline.
450 guests and 55 dogs listened in rapt attention as Boston Emcee Tom Stebbins and MSPCA President Neal Litvack unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at the important work of the MSPCA’s Animal Protection Division told through the eyes of Jobee, a dog who was brought back from the brink of death, healed, and eventually placed into the perfect home.
Such a miracle would not be possible without collaboration from the entire organization, from Angell Animal Medical Center’s world-class veterinarians to the MSPCA’s Law Enforcement Division, Community Outreach, and Adoption Centers.
It was an especially big night for one couple – donors Joe Sultan and Sarah Franceschi – who got engaged on the MSPCA stage!
And finally… drumroll please: more than $750,000 was raised to fund important work of the MSPCA’s veterinary, law enforcement, pet transport, sheltering, and advocacy programs. The MSPCA wishes to thank all of the amazing donors and volunteers who helped make the night such a success!
