Pharmacy Assistant
Description:
Pharmacy volunteers work to keep our pharmacy running smoothly. These volunteers are responsible for cleaning shelving, rotating inventory, and checking stock.
Responsibilities:
- Clean shelving, bottles, and medication packaging
- Check stock placement
- Rotate inventory
- Check and label medication dates
Qualities/Skills:
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to follow direction and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and with other volunteers
- Comfortable working around staff in busy hospital ward
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role which requires repetitive movements such as bending, lifting, and reaching
Requirements:
- A minimum commitment of six months
- A weekly shift of two hours on a set day and time
- Attendance at orientation and on-site training
- Effective communication skills, including basic English language fluency
- Must be aged 21+
Available Shifts:
- Weekdays from 4:00-8:00 pm, Weekends from 10:00 am-4:00 pm
