Spay-Neuter Information
The MSPCA-Angell Clinic at Nevins Farm provides one-day spay-neuter and vaccination packages to low-income pet owners in Merrimack Valley communities.
The surgery package for dogs and cats includes the spay-neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, nail trim and microchip.
Any individuals on the following public assistance programs qualify: SNAP, SSI, rental and housing assistance, fuel assistance, TAFDC, EAEDC or WIC. Please note that state medical insurance or unemployment alone does not qualify you for the subsidized package pricing. If you are not on public assistance, please explain your financial need in your application. Our goal is to provide access to spay/neuter at an affordable cost to people in need of financial assistance.
The clinic is currently scheduling spay/neuter appointments for cats and dogs at 4-6 months out.

We accept Massachusetts Animal Fund vouchers. If you recently received a voucher and are looking to schedule an appointment, please email clinic@mspca.org with a photo of the voucher and a staff member will be in touch.
Thanks to generous funding, the MSPCA is able to provide $25 spay-neuter packages to Lawrence, East Boston, Chelsea and Lynn residents. You must qualify financially and will be required to provide proof of residency. You must financially qualify and will be required to provide proof of residency.
Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s CatMobile
The CatMobile offers affordable spay-neuter surgeries and vaccines to the cats of families in need of financial assistance. A Neuter package is $100, a Spay package is $150, and each package includes an exam, the spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, and a FVRCP vaccine. Also available are microchips for $15, nail trims for $10 and flea treatments for $15.00. To schedule an appointment, call (978) 465-1940 or register online at www.catmobile.org.
