Externships for Veterinary Technology Students

Angell Animal Medical Center offers externship rotations to interested veterinary technology students. A wide variety of rotations are available to externs:  Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging, General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, and Surgery. Externships may involve observation only or may incorporate hands-on experience. Externs will Danielle Arcand Extern and Topaz - owner Deborah Dyer 064work closely with team members to complete daily tasks.

The externship program offers an excellent opportunity for veterinary technology students who wish to observe a busy, urban, referral specialty practice. The program also offers the opportunity for those interested in pursuing employment at Angell to view the hospital first-hand and speak with our team.

If you are a veterinary technology student and you would like more information about the program or would like to request an application, please e-mail us at lcordaro@mspca.org.
