Behavior Service Waiting List Policy

We look forward to working with you to create positive change in your pet’s behavior. Since we are booking appointments many months out, we have developed a waiting list system to ensure you and your pets get the attention you need. Our waiting list process works like this:

  1. Begin by making an appointment by calling 617-522-7282, or by calling the Behavior Office at 617-989-1520.  You will be given the first available appointment, which may be many months from now, but do not despair!
  2. The Behavior staff will send you a Behavior Intake form right away, and as soon as we receive it, you will go onto our waiting list;
  3. When we have a cancellation, we call the clients on the waiting list, and the first one that answers the call gets the appointment.

The actual wait time averages four to six weeks (sometimes sooner!), and we are mindful of the urgent nature of some behavioral problems. Often we can give advice by phone to tide someone over a bit until we see them.

Terri Bright, Ph.D., BCBA-D, CAAB sees patients in Boston, and Jocelyn Strassel, CVT, MS sees patients in Waltham, as well as Boston. Please note that we now have training classes in Obedience, Agility and Nosework in Waltham as well as in Boston. Classes are listed at angell.org/dogtraining
