Meet Waverley
WAVERELY:
She is a beautiful cat! She had a fractured tooth that was removed, and all of her other teeth were cleaned and polished.
Waverley came into the shelter as a stray, so we dont know her backstory or have any history on her.
She will need a slow introduction to her new home – we recommend setting her up in her own space to start (an extra bedroom or bathroom, for example). Choose a space that people or animals do not have access to unless you are going in to clean or feed. She should be left alone initially as she adjusts. Her space should include plenty of hiding places, ideally with access to vertical surfaces as well like a cat tree or a cat-proofed shelf, and easy access to a litter box, food, and water.
Once she is ready to move beyond the initial confinement space, her adopters should be prepared to give slow/incremental access to the rest of the home.
