Keeping families together when economic issues provide challenges is important to the MSPCA. Volunteers contacted Massachusetts food pantries to help families who need food and who would like to donate pet food (dogs and cats). The pantries most likely to have pet food are listed below; contact your local food pantry to ask about pet food if you don't find a convenient one below. Please note that listings were accurate when posted, but changes may occur. We would suggest you contact the agency to confirm before going there. If you notice any errors, please let us know at advocacy@mspca.org. Please note that most food pantries do not have pet food except when it is donated to them; you can contact your local food pantry to offer donations.
Pet Food Stamps is a non-profit, supported by donations, that can help people who need food for their pets; see their website www.petfoodstamps.org to donate or to request help.
