Looking for an activity that will boost your child’s reading confidence and help animals at the same time? Register for the Nevins Rescue Readers Program! Accompanied by a parent or guardian, children will read out loud to an adoring canine, feline, rabbit or even a chicken! While your child practices reading, you’ll also be providing valuable social time to our adoptable animals. Bring your favorite book or borrow one from the MSPCA library (our book selection is best suited for ages 3-10). This event is appropriate for children who are learning to read, and/or could benefit from some practice reading out loud.
