On April 15, the Senate will debate S. 3050, An Act to build resilience for Massachusetts communities (Mass Ready Act). This bond bill contains many different issues that impact our environment. Two amendments have been proposed that need your support! Ask your State Senator to co-sponsor amendments #3 and #8 to the Mass Ready Act!

Amendment #3

This amendment contains the language from the rodenticide bill. It restricts the use of anticoagulant rodenticides in Massachusetts, unless for emergency purposes. It is sponsored by Senator Moore.

Amendment #8

This amendment contains language from the Bean New Deal bill. It seeks to increase access to plant-based protein options across public institutions in Massachusetts in order to improve public health, reduce health care costs, address dietary inequities, and advance climate goals. It is sponsored by Senator Creem.
