Tracy McNair, AS, CVT (Practice Coordinator)

Tracy graduated from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute in 1995 with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. At work, Tracy enjoys seeing new puppy and kitten appointments and helping owners provide the best possible care for their pets.

Sue Miller, CVT

Sue comes to Angell at Essex with over two decades of veterinary experience. She has worked in high-volume spay-neuter settings, general practice and shelter settings, and anesthesia/surgery referral hospitals. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and obtained her certified veterinary technician license in 2004. She has always loved training new technicians and sharing her knowledge with students. Angell at Essex has allowed her to bridge the gap between doing the job she loves, taking care of animals, and helping to teach the next generation of veterinary professionals.

When not at work, Sue loves spending time with her husband and daughter, dog Scout, cat Butter and two rats, Splinter and Chisel. And if there’s any time left in her day, you can find her working at her community garden.

Laura Lee Shields, BS, CVT, CCFP (Practice Supervisor)

Laura is a Certified Veterinary Technician with more than fifteen years of experience in small animal general and emergency medicine. In 2003, she graduated from Mount Ida College with her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary technology and also became certified in the state of Massachusetts

Laura has experience in teaching at the college level. Teaching veterinary technology students was a very rewarding experience and she now enjoys teaching at the high school level. She also pursued a certification in compassion fatigue, a topic that she feels passionate about and is an ongoing concern in the field of veterinary medicine.

In her personal life, Laura has a four-year-old Labrador name Cooper and enjoys hiking, biking, and vacationing. She also enjoys spending time with her family including her two nephews and her niece.

Arleia Tringale, AS, CVT (Practice Coordinator)

Arleia graduated from Essex Agricultural and Technical High School in 2007. She then went to North Shore Community College and obtained her associates degree in Veterinary Technology. Soon after she became a Certified Veterinary Technician. She worked for over five years in the Angell Boston location in the Clinic and then the Cardiology department. At work Arleia enjoys bonding with her patients and establishing a fear free relationship.

Outside of work Arleia enjoys spending time with her husband, newborn son, family, friends, and of course her dog named Maizy! When she has enough energy, you can find her horseback riding at her family’s farm.

Lisa Keenan, BS (Client Care Specialist)
