Heidi Broadley, DVM

EDUCATION

Sara Gardiner, DVM

Dr. Gardiner grew up in Massachusetts and received her veterinary degree from University of California, Davis in 2002. She has been a small animal clinician for the past 21 years at various locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and California.  Her experience includes preventative care, emergency medicine, and shelter medicine. Dr. Gardiner is excited to be now working in a very unique educational setting and she strives to make a positive contribution.

Hilary Kinney, DVM

Dr. Kinney grew up in southern Maine, she received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Geneva College and her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University. She completed a year-long rotating internship at the Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists hospital in Massachusetts and worked in general practice prior to joining the Angell West and Angell at Essex teams. Her special interests include emergency medicine and surgical procedures. Outside of the hospital Dr. Kinney spends time with her pet rabbit named Toast.

Lisa Keenan, BS (Client Care Specialist)

Lisa graduated from Merrimack College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.  After years of being a stay at home mom, Lisa joined Angell at Essex in October of 2021. This role allows her to combine her extensive customer service background with her lifelong love for animals, especially dogs. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband David, daughter Carly, son Dawson and dog Diggy. Other interests include kayaking on the lake, backyard fire pits, cooking, and hanging with friends.

Kate Siegel, BS, CVT

Kate is a skilled and compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician who obtained a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020. She is certified in fear-free handling and advanced CPR, demonstrating her commitment to patient care and professional development. Kate began her career in a mixed-animal general practice on the North Shore of Massachusetts before transitioning to a specialized focus in canine and feline oncology. In 2025, she joined the team at the MSPCA-Angell at Essex. Outside her professional responsibilities, Kate enjoys surfing and values her time with her horse, Apollo, and her cat, Hungry.
