Meet Scooby!

Scooby is a very playful boy who absolutely loves being outside. He may need some time to warm up to new people, but once comfortable, he’s such a snuggle bug! He’s happiest sitting next to his people, cuddling up with a long-lasting chew, and taking long, cozy naps. His sweet and loving personality bring so much joy into a room, and his unique bark never stops being funny. Scooby’s favorite thing in life is tennis balls, and he has pretty big feelings when people try to take them from him. He’s looking for an adopter who’s committed to reading his body language and never attempting to take items from his mouth – he will trade when offered, and we want him to feel secure with his favorite items. Scooby’s ideal humans are committed to training using positive reinforcement, willing to take things at his pace, and happy to let him self-entertain with his toys before settling down for some snuggle time.

Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Scooby. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
