Meet Kakarot
Meet Kakarot! This young man has been waiting patiently at the
shelter for his perfect adopter to come along.
Kakarot is a little bit on the spicy side of life! Kakarot would do best
with an adopter who is not phased by a little pizazz, is willing to learn
to read cat body language, and can give him time to adjust to a new home.
Kakarot is a spirit cat, and if you adopt him, you probably wouldnt even
notice he is in your house if it werent for the mysterious overnight
disappearance of cat food.
We often cant predict how a spirit cat will be after they settle in
some become comfortable around their family and choose to spend time with
them by sharing the same space or allowing some petting, while others
continue to prefer to hide when theres any commotion. Spirit cats
generally prefer to spend their time around other cats and make an
excellent kitty friend to a cat already in the home. Our staff can help
prepare adopters to welcome a spirit cat into a quiet home, but patience
and understanding will go a long way with Kakarot.
If you think Kakarot could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
You are welcome to enter our cat rooms during open hours. Staff and volunteers will be happy to assist you!
