Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from the MSPCA in Boston – we appreciate your interest in helping a homeless animal in need!  If you inquired about a cat or a small animal, please watch for an email to schedule an appointment to meet available animals.  Be sure to check your spam filter too! We release appointment slots 7 days in advance. If you don’t see any available appointments (which is often the case), please be patient and continue to check the link as often as you’d like for new appointments and/or cancellations.

If you inquired about a dog, please know that we typically receive far more inquiries for each dog than we are able to accommodate.  We do our best to schedule matchmaking appointments for the best possible match based on the order that inquiries are received.  You will not receive an email or phone call from us directly if we aren’t able to have you meet this dog.   We are very grateful for your interest in helping a pet in need and encourage you to keep an eye on the website for other adoptable animals that might fit what you are looking for in the future.

Please also note that due to the high volume of inquiries that we receive, we are not able to place any individual animals on hold.
