Pet Treats, Chocolates and Baked Goodies of All Kinds are on Offer – and All Proceeds Benefit the Adoption Center
BOSTON, Dec. 10, 2019 – The trees are trimmed, the stockings are stuffed and scrumptious chocolates, baked goods and pet treats are on offer starting this Thursday at the annual MSPCA-Angell “Homeless for the Holidays” bake sale, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until Saturday, Dec. 14.
The area’s premiere purveyors of human and animal treats have once again donated heavily to the sale—which takes place inside the MSPCA’s Angell Animal Medical Center lobby in Jamaica Plain, Mass.—to the delight of two- and four-legged visitors.
Sweet treats under every tree – and in every stocking
Among the sponsors donating goods this year are FoMu, Polka Dog Bakery, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Boston Baking, Solomon’s Patisserie, Hey Siri Bake Me a Cake, Top Shelf Cookies and Nini’s Cakes on the Side.
And because all of the supplies are donated, 100 percent of the proceeds go straight back to the MSPCA’s Boston animal care and adoption center, the MSPCA’s home-base not just for the sheltering of homeless pets but the epicenter of the organization’s community outreach programs.
