As Part of National Cat Adoption Month Scotties Pledges $5000 to Three Animal Rescue Agencies
BOSTON and Burlington, Mass., May 30, 2017 – From June 1-7 Scotties® Facial Tissues by Royale® will be supporting feline adoptions at three rescue organizations along the east coast in an effort to place select cats and kittens into loving permanent homes—and the MSPCA-Angell is one of them. The other two recipients each receiving $5,000 include the Animal Protective Foundation in New York and The Humane Society of Tampa Bay in Florida.
One specially featured cat at the MSPCA’s Boston adoption center in Jamaica Plain will have his or her adoption fee waived each day beginning tomorrow, June 1 and ending Wednesday, June 7.
Initiated by Scotties in 2014, this ongoing effort to increase the number cats and kittens going to good homes has been a key focus for the brand. All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, microchipped, screened for temperament, and are up to date on all shots and vaccinations. In the past four years, Scotties has found homes for more than 700 cats and kittens.

Scotties hopes to rally support for this cause and to rehome approximately 100 – 150 cats nationally in 2017. Caring owners looking to adopt can visit the MSPCA-Angell during open hours.
