Meet Groot-Felv+

Calling all heroes!

We’d like to introduce a very special cat named Groot. He is a one year old cat that loves getting pet, playing with toys, and has a regressive case of FeLV, or Feline Leukemia Virus which may shorten his lifespan, and we are hoping to find him a loving indoor-only home where he can live out his life. Despite his diagnosis, he is a social and affectionate cat with his favorite humans! Groot would need to be the only cat in the household, or have feline friends that also have FeLV. Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Groot-Felv+. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
