Meet Minnie

Minnie is a sweet, easygoing girl who loves the simple things in life, cozy blankets, leisurely sniffy walks, and spending time with her people. She also enjoys gentle play with well-matched dog friends and will happily soak up pets once she feels comfortable.

Minnie may need a little time to settle into a new home, as she can be sensitive to change, but with patience and a calm, predictable environment, her lovely personality will shine through. She’s still working on her manners and would do best with an adopter who’s excited to use positive reinforcement to help her learn and grow.

With her gentle nature and love for companionship, Minnie has all the makings of a wonderful best friend for someone willing to go at her pace and enjoy the journey together.

Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Minnie. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
