Meet Kiro

Meet Kiro! Kiro is a young firecracker of a dog looking for a family to call his own. Kiro’s energetic, goofy, and still has a lot of that silly puppy energy- even though he’s 5! Kiro’s never met a stranger he didn’t like, this guy is an enthusiastic social butterfly! He can get into some antics being an energetic and curious guy… counter surfing, jumping up to greet people, or using his mouth on human friends when trying to play. Kiro’s looking for an adopter that can use positive reinforcement to help him learn the ropes about being a polite pooch. He’s smart and food motivated, so he has taken to training very well here! He’s super snuggly and sweet with his friends, and also loves to romp in a yard with toys! Kiro previously lived with a cat successfully, and could potnetially live with older kids that don’t mind a rough and tumble playmate. Kiro may be able to live with a well-matched, neutral dog friend. If this cutie’s caught your eye, please come in and ask about him!

Stop by our Boston Adoption Center to meet Kiro. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm - 3pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
